I suffered from cold sores for over 25 years, usually 2 to 4 outbreaks a year. It was awful, and the worst part was knowing the only thing people saw was my glaring cold sore. You probably know the feeling.
I tried every treatment, from topical creams and essential oils, to L-Lysine and other supplements, to gimmicky little devices that sent electrical pulses across my lip (clearly, I was desperate). Nothing worked.

In early 2011, I had an outbreak when a friend told me he could help me with my cold sores. He introduced me to a doctor who had formulated a natural supplement, with FDA-approved ingredients, that could prevent HSV-1 outbreaks from the inside out. The doctor promised I wouldn’t get cold sores if I took two pills a day, one in the morning, one at night. What did I have to lose?
After 6 months without an outbreak, I was hopeful. After 12 months, I was excited. After 18 months, I felt like I didn’t have to worry anymore; I had taken control of my cold sores.
I approached the doctor about marketing the product. If it worked for me, it could benefit millions of other cold sore sufferers, too. We branded the supplement CSoreX, and launched the website in late 2013.
